seeking advice Posted October 18, 2001 Share Posted October 18, 2001 I'm earning about 40K permonth but somehow manage to only save 10K per month- I blow the rest. Its concerning me since I should be saving a nest egg. How can i save more? Any ideas welcomed Link to post Share on other sites

That would be $40,000 in U.S. Currency if you are in the U.S. That would mean you are making somewhat more than the President of the U.S. and the CFO's of most American corporations. Why don't you open a couple of mutal funds and have them automatically take a certain amount out a month. It's not as easy to access, so it's not like you can put a card in a machine and withdraw money like a regular savings account. Plus I think it's like 2-5% interest a year, where a regular savings account is 1%. By the way, if you really are making $40K a month, will you marry me? I can cook. Link to post Share on other sites
