Nb1988 Posted December 5, 2012 Posted December 5, 2012 I met with my ex last night. We have been broke up for 1 month today. When we met last night things went really well. She was flirtatious, as was I. We agreed to open up the lines of communication again and to start to hang out but not too often taking it little by little. I have hope that we can be together again but I'm very afraid of getting my heart broken again. I told her I'd call her after work today and I'm very nervous about it. I don't want to pressure her into anything but I also don't want to let her slip through my hands. Any advice?
Treasa Posted December 5, 2012 Posted December 5, 2012 She already slipped through your hands. She broke up with you. Unless you were a HUGE jerk and she gave you tons of chances, just let her go. Actually, even if you were a huge jerk, let her go.

(From your other thread) Advice? This is not someone who is ecstatic to see you, she never mentioned getting back together with you. Am I wrong? What do you expect from someone who doesn't give you any positive (reconciliation) signs. Seeing her/opening lines of communications without expressing a desire to get back together leads down 1 road.... friends. Don't get your hopes up, she isn't saying the right things. 1
Balzac Posted December 5, 2012 Posted December 5, 2012 Dude, dig around in your pocket for your pride! It's been a mere month and she's not reinforcing you. It ended, it's time for you to get a clue. You have concerns about a refractured heart but the decisions you are making~pretty much guarantee that outcome.
