HiCrunchy
We all know, as the dumpee you always get the advice to never send a letter to your ex after they dump you. Any question regarding sending a letter to the dumper is a "NOOOOO, don't do it!" But dumpers that got a letter from your dumpee ex, how did you feel? What were the circumstances? Did you read the letter? Did your reply or ignore? Why?
staggerlee71
the problem with the letter is it is from YOUR perspective, not the dumpers. Until you know EXACTLY why the dumper dumped you, you will not know their perspective. OH, one more thing, you will NEVER know why your were dumped Quite a quandary. Don't do it
Author HiCrunchy
My post was asking dumper's their experience with receiving the letter. I wasn't asking if the letter is effective or not. Probably not since most people advise against it.

AT15
I received a hail marry call 4 years after the hook up, and a MySpace inbox letter 2 years after that. The letter was filled with every superlative you could ever want to hear ... from the person you LOVE. But not the person you left behind. It just doesn't matter, because you're not into them. Years later when my marriage exploded, I remember how fond he was of me, and he is what brought me to Loveshack. Funny how those tables turn. But, when I didn't want him, I sincerely did not want him. Letters and phones calls just blew up my ego. It made me feel out of his league.
