Benefit of dodging game players

I have a male friend that I've spoken to quite a bit about dating and such. He meets a lot of women in Meetups and they actually show interest in him...but...they play games with him.

THEY even initiate and even ask HIM out sometimes, only to flake at the last minute. This happens all the time pretty much with him. The only thing that makes him different than the rest of the men...he pretty much gives up the chase sooner than later, while other men chase the dangling carrot a good distance...if they get lucky, she'll eventually cave and date the chaser.

Of course, this means she has him wrapped around her finger at this point and he has no problem fulfilling those "Honey Do" lists for her. I think this explains why a lot of men don't have balls in the marriage.

Anyway, he was even told by other women he gives up the chase too easily, but he knows better.

Me, on the other hand, I think I dodge a bullet of his situation because some women aren't attracted to me enough to even play games with me. lol. So I sometimes feel I dodged a bullet in the case.

That being said, gentlemen, if you feel you are ignored by women constantly, be lucky you don't attract many women, because the men that DO attract women have to put up with the aforementioned. lol (Sounds weird, but I think that's the jist of it.)

Any thoughts on this?

Life is one big game and some are good at it and reap the benefits and some are bad at it and lose and some refuse to participate in the game and still tend to lose anyway.

So he can try to justify his "non-playing" game position all he likes, but faint heart never won fair lady.

At least he is getting attention atm, once that dries up, he may end up regretting this stance.

I cut off game players at the first sign of game playing and it has always served me well.

Faint of heart never won fair lady? This one woman he spoke to me about was doing this to him on and off for the past 5 years...lol.

You think that's long enough to cut ties or shall he continue to be a sucker?

"Faint of heart never wins fair lady.", but it also keeps him out of divorce court years into a marriage with the "not-so-fair anymore."

Since when are there ANY benefits to this?!

Well that is just ridiculous. That is not the type of dating game I was referring to.

The benefits are apparent for those who participate and do well.

Saying it isn't so, and refusing to play gets most nowhere.

These types are usually just intent on stroking their egos. Honestly? If someone told me I gave up chasing too early I'd love them in the face. If they want to play chase get to kindergarden grounds and play with the kids there. Your friend is a smart guy for realizing that so soon.
