Doing "it" again... wish me luck, y'all...

Recommended Posts

Going to ask out a coworker tomorrow.

Last year I asked out a coworker knowing she was leaving the company for good in 4 months. I used the word "date" and scared her off.

With this new coworker, I plan to ask her casually, and it will be more of a hang out than a date. I am not afraid of friend zoning myself, because I feel our work chemistry is strong. It seems plausible that she likes me or would be open to dating me. So I'll ask nonchalantly, hope she accepts and go from there.

At any rate one thing I realized is it's so hard finding someone that you click with. When you do, it's something worth pursuing.

If she'd been attracted she would have gone out with you. She just wasn't interested.

Do you have a good gut feeling or this just one of those lets see what happens?

Kind of both. I'd say 60/40 gut feeling/let's see what happens.

BTW, I ended up not asking her out. It just turned out that it was such a busy day and there was never the "right moment."

Also, she's the girl this thread is about here:

That might color in a little more perspective.

if a guy asks me to "hang out" I would probably assume he just wants to be friends and place him in the friend zone.

Most men wouldn't be opposed to friend with benefits zone, so "hangout" is still valid.

Good luck OP!
