wergotproblems
so i went to starbucks today and it was the same cute cashier girl that I saw a few weeks ago. She was trying to talk to me as she was taking my order but i kept stuttering. But i kept eye contact and she did to me as well. I couldn't tell if she was flirting with me or just being friendly, but I asked for a fork and she said 'is it for your drink?' and then she asked my name and i paused for a sec and said it. she responded, 'wow that took a while for you to answer.' All this was in a joking way and she was talking to me pretty fast, compared to the others. She also put a smiley face next to my name on the cup. I want to write a note for her tomorrow or friday. What do you guys think?

What do you guys think? I think you are reading way too much into these little signs that come from a cashier. People at their jobs are either bored or trying to get tips. They treat customers in a way that gains attention. Do not get your hopes up, and why write a note? Don't want to just ask her out?
Eggplant
All baristas at Starbucks are overly friendly. It's the job.
Trimmer
Ach! No notes! Are you going to fold it in a triangle and draw little stars on the outside with colored pens from your backpack? A note says: I'm 15 and you're my first crush, and that's why I can't talk directly to you. I think it's possible, or even likely, that she's just being super friendly, as others have pointed out. But if you want to pursue it, and you don't mind being shot down, what the heck, it's good practice. Just don't do it with a note...
