Staying in contact with my ex on the phone every other day is not helping me move beyond my sphere of depression. Seems to me that I will never get over her. Don't know if this will end. I feel depressed by the moment, NC would help but I miss her so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I want to get back with her, but know its something unachievable bc she left me for a reason which she thought was sound enough to leave. I can't be stuck like this anymore. How can I be strong? Thanks for listening everyone!

The one and only rule of breaking up is NO CONTACT.

The reason you're still feeling miserable is because you continue to be in contact with her. But you probably already know that.

Go full-blown NC on her. No contact whatsoever, regardless of circumstances (except maybe a death in her immediate family).

No excuses. No waffling. No "just this one time" stuff.

No contact means no contact.

Good luck. I promise, it will get easier and you will heal.

Thanks semi for the extra boost to get me out of where I am. Sometimes I just think that maybe she might change her mind and that phone call is for her return. So stupid of me. Thanks for your comment. I will do NC.
