Is it okay to always specify if someone is attractive? I consider myself a secure person so I don't feel like this concern is coming from a total insecure place but my boyfriend seems to always point out if a person be it man or woman is "gorgeous" "handsome" whatever. It's like before I meet someone he'll mention it if the person is attractive. Before I ever said anything to my girlfriend about this she told me that she noticed it. The question is...is this a flaw? I feel like why should he tell me this? Why not just tell me what the person is like and let me decide...or better yet, why do we even have to label it all the time. For instance, I was meeting his extended family and he's like by the way she's gorgeous or he's really handsome. I really want to know if this is my problem or if I am valid in being annoyed by this. Thoughts?
