I'm over the moon (as you can tell from my name) about his guy that I have been dating for about six months. In the beggining we made out all the time but now we only do if we're gonna have sex (which I have to say we do often) - like 4 or five times a week. Also, while he is extremely affectionate - holding my hand, hugging me, touching me, running his fingers through my hair - we hardly ever kiss and rarely if ever is there tongue involved (sorry ) I have been out of the dating loop for quite a while - I was married for nine years - and this is my first foray back. Is this the norm? Is something wrong with the relationship or perhaps me? Am I being too analytical and dramatic?

Some guys just aren't kissers. I loved me ex-fiance more than anything in the world. She's super attractive and I'd rather be with no one else in life than her. But I didn't kiss her a lot. I would squeeze her leg in the car and rub her neck and play with her hair, but for some reason I never kissed her much even though I think she's beautiful. I would give her pecks on the mouth and kiss her neck, cheeks, and forehead, but not a lot of long mouth kisses.

I wish I had kissed her more. Maybe that's why she didn't think I still loved her. If I ever get the chance again, I'll lock lips with her every chance I get!

But I wouldn't worry about your guy. If he's affectionate, then he's being affectionate in his own way.
