Different people have different tolerance levels. It also depends on things like size and weight. What is micky? You mean like volume?

I have always liked this chart

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blood_alcohol_content

you will see that.30-40 is passing out.

And here is a good BAC meter..

http://www.ninjasuit.com/scripts/scr...p?script_id=34

A persons BAC is directly related to weight, height ( blood volume ) and the amount of time consumed

Just a question out of curiosity.............

...why would one 'want' to pass out?

<G> I'm serious though.

Wake up with the same broken heart and feel like ****. Sounds like piling **** on top of ****.

Of course I'm speculating on the situation, but the only way to really feel good about yourself is to do things that make you feel good about yourself.

It depends. I can pass out from 4 drinks and not pass out from a bottle and a half of wine. But basically, more than 5 drinks will cause blackouts and a lot of anger.

All of these are considered equal and only one drink

12.0 ounces of regular beer 5.0% alcohol
14.3 ounces of light beer 4.2% alcohol
1.5 ounces of hard liquor such as whiskey 40% alcohol (80 proof)
1.2 ounces of hard liquor 50% alcohol (100 proof)
5.5 ounces wine 11% alcohol

I did google these.. but I was taught this:

1 beer = 1 shot 80 proof whiskey = 3 ounces wine

In either case you can see that it takes about 3 times more wine to equal 1 shot drink

I don't think you are passing out.. you are most likely consuming to the point of falling asleep..
The reason being is that 4 drinks consumed over 2 hours in a 100lb woman makes your BAC only .15.. that is drunk not comatose

OK so used to when I was younger and drank WHOLE LOT more than I do now, I would drink until I couldn't remember anything the next day. I always thought that I had passed out, but I would have friends say to me "Oh that was funny when you did this" or "remember when you did that?" and I woud have absolutely no recolection of doing those things. So I'm guessing I blacked out? Why couldn't I remember doing stuff??

You are correct that you blacked out.. but I don't know the reason why.. but I did find a page that explains it.. the second page is real interesting

http://www.duke.edu/~amwhite/Blackouts/index.html

In fact that page seems to be a real good page for information about alcohol and bac

Interesting..

I had 4 drinks (they were strong) last night (1-limon/coke & 3-Grape Kamakize's) in a two-hour period and I didn't pass out. I also had 1 1/2 hours to sober up before driving home..
I weight between 120-125 lbs.

If I put 3/4 of a bottle of wine down I'm all giddy as hell and my head is flying in the clouds. Wine affects me worse then hard liquor.

I wonder if it has something to do with what the shyt is made out of. Like allergies or sensitivities to certain ingredients or chemicals.

wine has high amouts of sulfites doesn't it?
