My boyfriend hates my friend

My boyfriend and I have been together for about 9 months and my friend was the one that really got us together - but since he did that - he seems to be really jealous and constantly flirts with me in front of my boyfriend tries to kiss me and many other things. I have tried to make it clear to him that I do not see him that way and that I just want to be with my boyfriend but when I say that he just gets nasty with me - this really upsets me as it seems he doesn't understand. All of my other friends dont see this aswell they think that he is really nice and that my boyfriend is the one who is entirely to blame. It's even worse as my boyfriend has now gotten a reputation for being aggressive because of his attitude to my one friend so all of my male colleagues and friends now try to avoid being near me also except a few. A few weeks ago I told them both to leave me out of it because I didnt want to be involved in the problem that they had with each other - but even that doesnt seem to have solved things. The thing is I dont want to loose my boyfriend or my friend because I like them both but the way they pressure me it seems i have to choose one of the other which doesnt seem fair to me - but I cannot see anyway to solve this one- any ideas?
