can anyone help me?

i've been working at a "health and beauty" store for over a year now, and have been the only male member of staff yet.
on my first day of working there, i met a girl called hannah (who also works there) and was instantly attracted to her.
it turned out that we have some things in common and that being a year older than me, she attended the same school as me (but in the year above)
i don't see hannah socially, but i see her weekly at work.
over the period of time that i've known her, she's acted differently towards me than other girls.
for example, she always seems happy to see me!, she comes and talks to me and (when we're both working all day) we sometimes have lunch together.
i hadn't noticed this until the other day, when she actually asked my boss weather i could come into work becuse it was "too Busy". but when i got there, it was like a ghost town.
i want to ask her out, but i don't know how to! i've never had a girlfriend, due to a lack of self-confidence.
all i ask of you is this, does it seem like she's interested in me?, how would i go about asking her out?
and i'm a guitarist, and so all my confience is in my music and on stage, i have a gig comin' up at my college, and i thought it might be a good idea to invite her to that.

is this a good idea?

That sounds like a great idea. It does seem like she could be intereseted in you but of course you really won't know until you ask her. Why not invite her to your gig and then see if she wants to go out to eat afterwards just the two of you?
