My job as an engineer is getting tougher and tougher. I am not able to cope up, so I feel depressed and want to leave. But i dont have another job.
can I take some pills which will pep me up and give me a good feeling.
Does anyone know of such a pill.

Go see your physician. You could be depressed but you might also have a physical condition that needs treatment. Never ever just go looking for pills to give you 'pep'. You could do yourself no end of damage, particularly if you have an illness you don't know about. Or you may need to eat better, get more sleep, exercise, or any number of things. Only a doctor can tell you what to do about this.

There are pills called 'anti-depressants' and if you are unusually anxious or depressed you may benefit from them

Some examples are Paxil, Wellbutrin, Celexa and Zoloft.

They all have side effects.

Not all pills work the same in all people. Sometimes they have to try different medications until they find the right one for you.

Ok ....I am by no means a doctor or anything, but depression, I KNOW about.before you head over to the doctor, why don't you try working out, yoga, pilates, cadio, strength training, walking....and vitamins! I took anti-deppressants and I can tell you...they ALL have sometimes horrific side effects and the results of these side effects are worse than the deppression you started with! I have found that the natural way is much better.I would not wish some of those drugs on my worst enemy....good luck to you.
