Hero or Jerk ?

During spring break, I went down to Florida with a girl named Jenny, a couple buddies and a girl named Julia who was the niece of the dean. When we were down there, the girls went out on a small sailboat and decided to sunbathed in the nude once they were far enough from shore where no one could see what they were doing. To make a long story short, their sailboat tipped over and my buddies and I went out to rescue them in a small powerboat. When we got out there and we discovered that they had lost their swimsuits in the mishap and were in the water with nothing on. Fortunately, I had a towel on board so I was able to carefully help Julia into the boat while using the towel to keep her cover her. We only had the one towel, so we were unable to provide the same dignity for Jenny. We weren't about to leave Jenny out there, so we convinced her to let us help her into the boat anyway. We went back to shore, a crowd had gathered to see what was happening, which didn't make the ordeal any easier for Jenny. Afterwards, Julia acted as though each one of us was a hero for saving her and she kept telling us how appreciative she was that we didn't allow her to be subjected to the gawking eyes of the boys on the beach. This only made Jenny feel worse because we did not spare her from this. Jenny latter said she was hurt and felt like we only cared about Julia. I have to admit at the time this was true, but now I've come to really like Jenny. I feel like such a jerk. I would like to make it up to her, but I don't know what to say.

Jenny is rotten, selfish and ungrateful. Tell her next time to call AAA Motor Club to be rescued and ask them to bring a robe. If she can't understand the situation and be happy to be alive, she's not worth your time, bub!!!

You didn't push her sailboat over. You helped save her life...and she's pissed because you didn't make it exceptionally comfortable for her??? If this is the type of woman you want in your life, get some help!!!

Definately 'hero'.

You are a nice guy to be concerned about the feelings of someone dumb enough to nude sunbathe and then capsize the boat.

She does sound like a whiney brat, but didn't you or one of the other guys have a shirt on that you could have given to her?

Hi!

First I'd like to say, THANK YOU Bobbi. At least 3 of you went out to rescue 2 girls. I'm sure there was enough clothing amongst you to share. If you were the ONLY one to rescue the 2 girls, you should give one of them your pants, and one of them your shirt, and come back in your underwear.
