My boyfriend and I have been dating for 3 years now. We are apart while I am attending university, but I will be graduating in May, so we have plans for me to move in with him and his parents until we get married, (his parents don't think that we should have our own place until then.)

Anyway, he has been talking about our future a lot in the past 8 months, and he even had me pick out some rings in catalogues and he asked for my ring size. My birthday is coming up as well as Valentines day. He's 24 and i'll be 22 pretty soon. He keeps saying that he wants to start having kids in 3 years, so I'm thinking that he will propose this year and we'll get married next year. He keeps saying that it'll happen sooner than I think... Any thoughts?

Unfortunately, none of us can tell you when it's coming. It certainly sounds like he is taking this relationship seriously. Sounds like it is coming "soon", but I remember when I was waiting that the term "soon" made me want to scream with anticipation. All I can say is, good luck! Enjoy the time of butterflies!!
