WHen can I start asking him to do something

When you begin casually dating at what point can/should the girls start asking the guy to do something?

If you mean sexually...

Usually he takes the lead unless she much more experienced.

If he's inexperienced don't expect to him to "start doing things" or ask him to "do things". Seduction is not about asking someone to do things. It's a process that moves in that direction or not. Seduction is an art that takes time and skill. Hope he's getting there...

Most guys don't need to pushed...they are usually moving right along..

yes. That's exactly what I mean. When can I start asking him if he'd like to meet for lunch, etc.

Kick back and relax for awhile, let him take the initiative. You said casually dating, I save invites for after something has been said to make things more serious/monogamus. There's nothing wrong w/mentioning what your doing that weekend if he asks, and if he sounds interested when you tell him, inviting, but I wouldn't do call up invites at this point. I agree, enjoy the process, let him pursue.

That's what I thought and what I usually do. i just think I might have made a mistake this time. We were out on our last date and got to talking about what we like and don't like about dating. I said that I don't like guys who pursue me to the extent that the challenge is gone. i said "I like the challenge." I got an e-mail form him the next day saying he had "such a good time and that next time he would let me win" (we had played a game of pool after dinner). That was on Tuesday I told him I had a good time as well, since then nothing. So now I'm wondering if perhaps what I said he is taking a little too literally or maybe I'm just overreacting and I'll hear from him eventually?

Yeah, he is going to let you chase him...That is how it seems...You don't want him so easily. So, wait afew days, send him a funny email or joke. Something along the lines of something that you two talked about or did on a previous date. He'll call ya don't worry!

Heh, yeah it sounds like he's trying to be a challenge. I don't see any harm in asking him for a date.
