Well it seems that we are finally going to set a wedding date! The problem is that I do not want to do it until we have a ballroom. The problem is that all the ballrooms we have looked into have to be catered and that means lots and lots of money!!!! Something we don't have much of. We are starving students What can we do to find ballrooms in the Los Angeles area that are not catered? Please help me. I want to set a date already.

Try your local churchs.. a lot of them have reception/ballrooms that you can rent..and they don't require catering

Congrats! Let us know when the big day is when you pick the date!!

What about a Legion hall? I don't know if you guys have those in the States.
But they aren't that expensive to rent.
