business dilpoma-do i need a degree

business dilpoma-do i need a degree

ok i'm doing a business management dilpoma at langara college in business and was thinking would doing anohter 2 yrs and getting a degree-bba be of any benefitial.
is a dilpoma enough to work in the business world. also what kind of work would i be able to do-work positions. i'm more into the marketing and sales or management area, orinternational business.
with a bba-what kind of work postions-names would i be able to do. i hope not supervisor at some shoe store or manager at mcdonalds.
why so many ppl these days i talk to want a degree -is it that useful in the work world

Theoretically you don't need a degree to work in most areas of business, unless its a specialist position. Most of what you need to know you will learn on the job. Having a degree though is a way of getting the attention of recruiters. Most companies I think these days will not even consider applicants who do not have any qualifications.
