Red face Facing the snowy weekend...alone. :(

I'm just posting cuz it's the weekend, and I'm blue. This is actually my first full fledged weekend ALONE. Not seeing any friends. No boyfriend. I actually managed to fill my calendar for like 5 weeks, so kudos to that, but this was inevitable.

Just trying to pass some time. I know i'll get re-used to being alone. I just don't like it at the time and I miss having someone to call my significant other.

Not to mention it snowed last night like 6 inches, so I don't even want to drive for fear of ice. Booo! Someone commiserate with me :-)

Yeah, it can be a real drag being home alone so much of the time. Movies help. And being online.

But, hey, the company's grand, isn't it?

Yeah i was contemplating watching a DVD...but then it was When Harry Met Sally which is my all time favorite, and I'm not sure I should watch that right now hehe. I walked into my bedroom, and saw my cat on my bed, and I was like "aww i'm not alone, am I jewelie". Which I suppose could be considered pretty sad by some, but I love that if I can't have human companionship, at least I've got feline companionship :-) Plus she doesn't snore! lol

you can call me if you want, but I might be out having fun as I
was invited to 4 holiday parties.....opps!! heheh just kidding!
Anyways, yes, even ME the great Fatcat has spent time alone
with my cat, Kelli. I usually do exercise during the day and rent
movies and drink beer if I ever get snowed in (which isnt often)
at night. Learning a foreign language during down time is nice--
I've cracked Spanish and now working on French. Anyways I will
be awaiting your call, I'm a few states below you, lol.

I sure wouldn't watch When Harry Met Sally if I were longing for someone! Romantic comedies when you're lonely can fuel the loneliness. I watch things like Mississippi Burning or The Interpreter or Elf.

And I get out as soon as I can to say hello to the neighbors, get coffee, whatever, just to get out. I and my cat and dog are a fabulous party, but people aren't bad either.

We got about 5" in western PA. How 'bout you? I heard NJ and DC were going to get a double whammy.
