waking up unhappy?

So i've been friends with about 8 guys for years...really long, but what do you do when one day you realize you dont like them? We have different ideas as to what friends are and moral differences too. Do I just stop hanging out with them?> It's so wierd, I feel like I just woke up and realized...."wait why am I hanging out with these guys?"

Are these FWB companions? Or just friends that you hang out with?

OK, I didn't know if the friends were of the same gender or not (even if they were it really wouldn't matter that much anyway).

Anyway, to the point;

People change and develop different interests as they progress. Same thing's happened to me, when your lifelong buddy drifts in a different direction. That's normal and natural.

If they're doing something that makes you uncomfortable, such as drugs or petty crime or something like that, then there's obviously no contest: SEE YA!! But if it's just a matter of differing interests, I suppose you could simply widen your circle of friends and not lose the ones you have.

Mind you, if you find yourself really despising these fellows, then maybe it's just time to say "goodbye and thanks for all the fish."

slubber - I agree , if their bad news , see ya. I've had many friends through time that I've drifted away from simply because life changed and the "fit" wasent the same .My sis and I don't speak much b/c theres just nothing to talk about ,so we talk on hollidays and such ,I wouldent throw it away but no real need to nurture something thats not there either.
