Falling in love a 2nd time?

If somebody tells you that they've fallen out of love with you and the relationship ends, is there really any chance of these same two people falling in love with each other again? It's very cliche'd for the dumpER to say "If it's meant to be, we'll be together in the future", (yes, I was given this line) but seriously, has anybody actually had that happen? If so, what happened during the time apart? How long were you apart? Did the 2nd chance work?

To be honest, personally, I don't believe that you can fall *out* of love. I take things like that seriously though hehe, i'm a hopeless romantic.
If someone would tell me "Well, I fell out of love with you...", I would get the impression that he never *truly* loved me in the first place.

It's quite interesting that you say that because I say the same thing. However, it seems that most people think it's possible to fall out of love with somebody. Maybe my meaning of love is different than theirs. I take it very seriously too. I'm not the type to tell a girl I love her within 2 months just to get in the sack with her. If I don't mean it - I won't say it. Period.

BTW, the ex shares your name...so I don't know if I should listen to you! Just kidding of course.

Haha get out, how ironic! Well I'm not telling you to take my advice, but that's how I would feel, not saying you have to take my word on it. Guys and girls are just too different sometimes, and for some it's hard to really find someone you can truly connect to, but, like I said, I don't think it's possible to fall out of love.
