How do you tell your ex who you have a child with, and who is suffering depression. that you have met somone new who you want to intoduce to your son?

I am sure he will kick off and get nasty as he wants me back and has never accepted that we are over.

we have been split for a year and he had a nervous breakdown and can be very unpredictable and volatile at times

He is a great dad and his son is his life. He hasnt met anyone new and he does not know that I have.
