Questions about legal and trial separation..

Hi all. Well, I am just trying to find out some info about the different kinds of separation.. What exactly is the difference between a trial and legal separation? If I wanted to get a separation and be able to have my husband move out of the house we are renting, how would I go about this? I know he wouldnt do it willingly. I am not for sure about even getting a separation yet, but I would just like to know more about them. Thanks everyone!

I'm not completely sure I'm right, but maybe others will jump in and help out, but I think when people refer to a 'trial' separation' they are simply separating, living separate for a time to give each time to see how they really feel about things, and of course that would have to be on mutual agreement otherwise one or the other would have to file in court for legal separation and I would guess that would have to be the case for you because you've said your husband wouln't be willing to move out, and I'm not sure the court would make him move out. Someone would probably be ordered to move out; you might be the one. I don't know how they decide that.

I hope you find some answers...
