He came back to me after being gone for six months just to tell me that we cannot have a relationship together. Why come back to tell me this? You've been gone for six months??? However, he just keeps reminiscing about all of the good times we had together over the last couple of years. He says remember when we did this, and remember when you said that, and remember when we went here and did this and that and all the good times we had. He recalls all of the little details and laughs a happy laugh. What does this mean? He stills has a ton of his stuff at my house too! I'm really confused.

No, he didn't disappear. He is in the military and while he was gone, I told him I wanted a more serious relationship and he said he wasn't ready because of the really bad divorce he had gone through. So we stayed in touch, but just not as much. He returned home six months ago and we still stayed in touch but he would not come and see me until a few weeks ago. He said he was still afraid of getting hurt and I was trying to move on. I just don't know what he wants.

how long has it been since his divorce?

did you not talk to him for that full 6 months...

bc if you didnt than your half way there...him coming back will only make things worse

It's been about 15 months since his divorce. I talked to him a couple of times during the six month period. He also said he is going through a lot of stress after returning to the states from being deployed. I don't know if that is true. Or just how much stress he is going through. He says it's a lot.
