how do i get her attention now?

This girl and i have been dateing on and off for about five yrs now,i've broken up with a couple of times and she has broken up with me a couple of times. We always seem to find our way back to one another and for the most part end up back together. This time we have both broken up with our significant others and have been visiting with each other not to often but on a weekly basis.I told her how much i still care and she felt the same way but in the same breath like an idiot i told her i wasnt going act on my emotions right away b/c i felt it was too early. Its now been about 3 months since i told her this and now i feel is the right time but it seems like shes a little distant and doesnt want to get very close. How do i get that spark back and, how do i tell her how much i really do want to be with her?

I think you both have no idea how to make a relationship work. Just loving someone does not magically make you an expert. If you both bolt when trouble brews you never learn how to handle the bad times as well as the good ones. If you want to be together then you need to learn how to live with each other and be each others love. If you can't do that then you need to break up and accept that you are not meant to be a couple.

Jayhawks has it absolutely right.

Remember, love is a decision, not an emotion. Emotions come and go with the tide, the weather, one's own cycles and a whole host of outside influences. Basing a relationship strictly on some sort of tenuous emotional bond is simply asking for disaster.
