I can't figure out for the life of me why she wants to stay living in my place, when we hardly even talk to each other (she is ****ing my other room mate (ex best friend of 9 years), well she was)...we have had numerous arguments and we have very different and strong personalities...yes I did have feelings for her once and was caught up in "one itis" but I got over it and her behaviour and mind games have completely turned me off her...

why does she wants to stay?
She can't look me in the eye, and it's obvious we dislike each other, she did tell me that she will eventually move out but that it's hard to find places (lies...I see good places advertised all the time).

This is my place and I have been here for 2 years and I'm not moving.

she pays rent and has been here for about 5 months, I am the leaseholder and I can't actually kick her out as it's a personal issue, I have spoken to my Landlord about the situation and she says just see how things go once my ex best friend has gone ...any sane Woman wouldn't live with someone that she doesn't get on with right?.

I have been avoiding them like crazy and want nothing to do with them...why does she want to stay?.

She's possibly making no attempt to move because she may hope you will tire of the situation and move out yourself, so she won't have to. If you really want to stay in your current residence, I'd just keep steering clear of her if you two can't establish a truce.

I'd go ahead and look up on the rental/eviction laws for your state anyway, just to know what your rights actually are. Is your ex friend on the lease agreement?
