Well this is my first post. This site looked kinda interesting and fun so here we go. Just trying to get into the guy's minds.

I've been seeing this guy for almost 2 years. The first year was more of an aquaintance thing, didn't see him a whole lot. He's early 30's I'm mid 20's. He is focusing his time on his job right now and I think wants to be in a relationship but is trying to get settled in his job. Working like 15 hour days all the time. This hasn't left a lot of room for us. When we do get together which seems to be only once every month or 2 its usually just to hang out of course a lil fun in there too. We never actually go out and do anything. I know he's not all about sex since that didn't happen til we'd known each other for a year and it was 100% my decision and still to this day is. I guess I'm just getting impatient or have been impatient not just getting. This guy has never been married and has no kids so I think its safe to assume he's just trying to get his life where he wants it then will make time for me. Guys helpppppp!!!! What's going on inside that mind!?

He has told me he thinks "it" could be a good thing, I'm just wondering how long I have to wait. And he's obviously interested or he wouldn't keep comin' back. Also, I really don't feel like I know him that well. Seems like when we're together conversation is always focused on me. That's probably my fault, how do I get him to talk more about his life?

I think he's just coming back he hasn't many other options. You seem to be the one who is taking the initiative for everything and he's following your lead.

Well, I'm not surprised you don't know him too well, how could you. According to your description of your relationship this seems to be a lose friendship with occasional sex without real commitment. He's not even very interested in getting physical with you. If I was in a similar situation I personally would have problems calling this a relationship.

Maybe by listening more to him?? Why don't you try to find out what his plans and dreams are? What he likes?

(hope I did that quote right!) I do not really consider us having a commitment/relationship at this point, only dating. I know there's a lot to come of this if it's going to be a relationship.

However, over the time I've known him, things have progressed, SLOWLY, but getting somewhere.

He does have his prioritys strait. How can he have a relationship with you if hes not settled in at his job. Your right about that. If everything is fine otherwise I think you should just flow with it if it works for you.
