I am a 52 year old college professor who recently moved to Boston, MA from Berkeley, CA.

I am a lifelong bachelor. Having no sustained emotional ties that bind me to a woman at or near my age, I have tended to form relationships with much younger women. Moreover, since I am very scrupulous about keeping my professional life strictly separate from my love life, I often rely on the internet to find dates.

I did not find it very difficult to meet young women over the internet in Berkeley. My posts on sites such as craigslist would typically receive several replies. However, things here in Boston seem a lot different. I have posted several times on Boston craigslist with no luck. I also tried various paid dating sites such as Yahoo and friendfinder. I found these sites populated by spammers plugging in for various porn sites. I would greatly appreciate any suggestions for sites which specialize in younger women for older men.

Would people on these forums advise me what is going on? I realize that culture and attitudes differ from place to place, but had not thought Berkeley and Boston were that different. Would any native Bostonians help me out?

I use match right now and don't have any trouble finding a younger woman.. Although i'm 42 and only date 10 years younger.

On match they have the age preference in the profile that you can judge if the woman is looking for an older man..

I've found it to be true.. If she doesn't have your age in her profile then she isn't interested.

Maybe your pics aren't doing you any good ..have a female friend look at them.. Take some new ones
