Older Sister has gone nuts with boys should I tell my parents

Please Help,

I am 17 and my older sister is 22, she has been out of state going to university. We Mom, Dad, me and sis) just returned from a cruise with my parents and she will be going back to school in several weeks.

During a 7 day cruise she had sex with 3 different guys while I was in the room (2 of them at the same time and she dared me to join in, she was drunk.) Not to mention that she never came back to the cabin on 2 nights and on the last night of the cruise some girls brought her back stumbling drunk and said she had taken off her top in the disco.

I tired to talk to her about this but all she says is that I am too young to understand and when I go to college “I will get it!”

I’m scared; we used to be really close and in some ways still are. She calls me every week and we share lots of sister things. But she has changed.

I worry that she will get raped, pregnant, or catch a STD (she has unprotected sex but is on the pill) she told me that guys don’t like condoms and STD’s are not common at all.

I don’t want to get her in trouble but I also care for her and don’t want her to get hurt.

Please help, give me thoughtful replies, and don’t judge her I know what she is doing is wrong. Please tell me what I should do.

You can't help anyone who doesn't want your help. She is 22 y.o. and your parents have little influence on her, and in cases like this probably none. She will feel betrayed by you and start hiding everything from you and your parents.
For some reason she feels like acting like that. Has she experienced any sexual drama, abuse or anything similar in her past?

Her behavior is definitely alarming and the worst part is that she has unprotected sex. STDs, AIDS and hepatitis are actually very common and easy to get. She is a candidate for any of them by acting the way she does. She is playing with fire.

The first thing to do is preach her. Get proof (books, etc.) to present the statistics and the possibility of her catching something. Talk to her about all your fears. Ask her how she would feel if you would act like that in a few years or why not start now?
Next thing is threaten to tell your parents. And the last thing is to tell them. Don't wait to long, her life (the way she lives it) is in danger at any moment.

Sorry, I couldn't think of any better solution. Keep us posted. Good luck!

I'd like to know the next time she takes a cruise. Here's my number...

She'll wise up by the time she gets the clap. If she's lucky, that's all she'll get.

STDs are actually very common. Being on birth control, patch or pill, is not enough to prevent pregnancy 100%. If your sister is an adult, I don't think there is much that your parents can do besides yell at her.

Your sister ought to know these things.

You can try to tell her about your concerns, but I doubt she would listen to you. She already seems convinced that she is doing everything a normal woman her age does, and that she is invincible.
