I'm not sure about garlic pills and hard alcohol helping

Chewing on parsley can sweeten the breath, and people often do that to counteract the effects of garlic.
When you visit the dentist, also ask for an appointment with the hygienist to check that you're brushing properly. Too vigorous, and your gums will bleed, which doesn't help matters. Same goes for flossing. You need to do it - but gently.
If you have stomach problems, I'm surprised your doctor couldn't help you. You need medical advice on that, but I think it's fair to say that alcohol is unlikely to cure the problems. I'd ask to be referred on to a specialist.
