Do you value yourself??

You sound like me. I love my Ex more than life itself, but if she doesn't see the value in being with me, then really it's her loss. I want to be with someone who loves and appreciates me for who I am. She didn't do that. And when she stopped giving in our relationship I lost my sense of self worth and tried to make up for lack of love. All a big downhill slide.

Stick with NC. Value yourself. If you don't love and value yourself, no one else will.

Because you lack self confidence and value.

It's been 8 months? It's waaaay past time for you to seek another mate. Honestly, your self of value will not increase until you start dating again.

A good friend of mine told me after my divorce is

" A good way to get over someone is to get under someone"

To this day I thought I would never get over my first ex, having gone through that first gave me a better understanding trying to cope now.

For some of us , me included you "NEVER GET OVER THEM" but you do learn to live with this, its almost like a disease that you cant cure but you can learn to live with it.

Be strong and read the No Contact forums on here as they have helped me alot
