How Could he do that to me, MEN SUCK! (most of them)

Well its almost two months since my ex and i broke up. He told me that he wasent in love with me anymore and so i let him loose, i mean i couldnt be with someone who didnt feel the same way about me as i felt about him. Yesterday i overheard one of his friends saying that he's getting pretty friendly with this one girl. That hurt so bad, i began crying last night that was all i did. I miss him so much, but what i dont miss are his lies and his hypocrosy, but i still love him. I know i'm bound to see him in a couple of weeks, i dont know what to do, help i'm so hurt he's such a jerk i mean i was with him for almost a year and a half, and we broke up less than 2 months ago and hes already seeing someone!

im sorry what happened and yea it sucks what he did. there really isnt much i could say but still keep up with the No Contact. just act as if you never knew him... i know it hurts when you hear he's with someone else but just think he will do the same thing to her that he did to you. now she can deal with his lies and bs. he will eventually up and leave her too. and he will find another girl and do the same... seems like he just wants to have his fun for right now... but im sure youll meet someone sometime soon. in the meantime , keep ya head up, and work on yourself. i think getting a new hairdo is a terrific way to start. its like starting all over again. i tell people this alot becuase it DOES make you feel better about yourself b/c now you look a little different. get some new clothes, new shoes and your set! start over, and always keep a smile on your face- you never know - some guy could fall head over heels for you if he sees that smile! just have fun for now! enjoy being single girl!

A little retail therapy never hurt anyone! Just make sure not to spend too much.

You're absolutely right; you don't deserve to be with someone who doesn't return your feelings. And you certainly don't deserve a liar or a hypocrite. If he acted that way towards you, I'm sure he'll act the same way towards this new girl.

I know this sounds like a bunch of bs, but there is someone out there who will treat you better. Trust me, I'm trying to convince myself the same thing. It's not easy, but I figure each day of pain will bring me one day closer to finding someone who will really appreciate me. In the meantime, it's great to come here and vent and know that other people feel the same way.

If you do see your ex, take the high road. Try to ignore him. If he does talk to you, keep it brief and simple. I'm still trying to figure out this whole breakup mess too, and it seems to me as though some guys cope by rushing into new flings or whatever, only to figure out the new girl doesn't measure up to the old one.

I'm sorry you're hurting so much, and I hope you feel better.

Word, Perfect suggestion this time for you Supergirl.

And shopping idea is really good and who says you need to buy, go there spend an hour see the things, the new arrivals and the things on sale. Who knows tommorrow you might need something which you have already seen and so it will save your time.

Supergirl, it seems that he didn't lie to you when he said he wasn't in love with you. What did he lie to you about? You mean he acted like he loved you, but he actually didn't? You should have discovered after a few months how he felt about you and not hold on to him for so long just to find out that your love is one-sided.
He has a right to move on just like you have.
The problem is: how could he have been with you for a year and a half and not be in love? I never understood how men can be so ambivalent about love. But the answer is in their nature; they like to stay independent and they don't mind having a relationship or sex without love.
Forget him, what can you do? Next time ask your BF how he feels about you earlier in the relationship.

I saw him after two months. He didnt even say hi so i just pretended as though i didnt have a care in the world as though he didnt exist to me.
