ex is checking up on me?

just a question for the ladies out there. ( and guys if you think you can answer)

my ex-broke up with me 3 months ago and yesterday she randomly immed me and we got to talking and she asks me how my current girlfriend is. i told her I would keep that answer to myself and why would she even want to know? So insisted that she was totally cool with it but I didn't buy it and I simply left it at that. I just want to know what exactly are girls trying to do here especially after the last time I saw her we both agreed that we would both basically move on?

She's probably wondering if your relationship with the new girl is better or worse...If you miss her, if you think about her when you kiss your gf...Does she make you happier??

All these questions run through, at least my head, when I find out my ex is dating someone else...It's a hard to move on especially when you've been together for a long time...The reality is I think she wants to compare the relationships or maybe, just maybe wants to make sure you're happy and moving on like she is

the thing is, a couple of weeks ago she contacted me saying things like "i feel like there is so much more left of us and blah blah" and that she wanted to see me and when we agreed to see each other to talk about it she just bottled up and said she wasn't prepared to give her emotions because she says she is too immature to deal with such emotions. At that point I was like the least you can do is be honest with me. I think she is still just trying to hold on to me by a string but maybe that's just my illusion.

im in the same boat, being checked up on by my mates i have known for years as their gf's are her mates...

jus get rid for your sake, ur life will be alot easier! trust me! my ex loves to drop me a random email every now and again and it gives me great pleasure to delete it before i read it cus in all honesty i can do better!

keep ur dignity mate, ur doin well!
