Hello- I am trying to help a friend out (she is female)
She is married and has a verbally abusive husband- I am kind of sensitive to that so i feel bad for her.
My wife and I fight but do not call each other names so I do not know what that type of relationship is like.
She seems to just take it but I think it's over the top.
She told me today that her called her a FAT (C-word) several times and it just got me crazy- Such disrespect!
Not sure what to tell her as a friend- IS this a serious situation??

You really can't tell her anything other than how you feel about it. She will do what she thinks is best. She may think that its normal behavior in a relationship, and all you can do is be there for her and give her your perspective on things. Good luck!
