I am currently in a relationship with a girl name Tina.We've been together for 9 months.The problem is that no matter how hard i tried i still can't let go of my ex g.f (Karen).Eventhough it's been 3 yrs since we're together but i still can't erase her of my mind.I tried to do a lot of things but it dosen't work.I have stopped communicating to her ever since she dumped me (3 yrs ago).

Just to let u all know tat our relationship was almost perfect.We never had any arguments or fights. We mostly agree with each other and our relationship was also full of love.Suddenly one day she heared frm her friends that i love to play on girl and she was suddenly mad and called everything off.I did warn her before she was with me that she might hear bad stories abt me and that maybe it is true.But no matter what it is, i have changed for good.Only god knows how much i've changed.I really do love her alot and i don't know what to do rite now..I am totally confused..Pls help me...If 3 years dosen't help, i don't think 10 yrs would make any difference...

Seems like your still in love with Karen. Without a doubt.
On the other hand, she might not have loved you the same since all she did was hear a rumor and broke it off. That should give you the incentive to let go of Karen and focus on Tina. If Tina is a great girl and you see yourself having the same relationship with her as you did with Karen, then go for it! What do you have to lose? Except the feeling of letting a former love go! And that great when you get that closure! Good luck!
If it's been 3 years since you've spoken to Karen then you NEED to give it up. Forget about Karen and try to make a new love. I doubt you guys are ever going to rekindle your love.

It's nice to remember the good times, isn't it. Either you have a selective memory or you really didn't fight, which by the way is not normal. Normal couples fight and if they don't they end up having a small little fight that makes them break up.

You haven't talked in three years, it's over. I'm sure, without any hesitation, that she's moved on. And you should too. I mean, come on, what did you think that she's been sitting around crying over you and staring at your picture waiting for you to call? You can throw away what you've got with Tina if you want, but going back to Karen is pretty unlikely.

Thanks guys.I guess ur words are rite..I've been waiting for her for 3 yrs and nothing came up..Well i'm sure she has moved on and i have to as well.Whether i like it or not.If she dosen't appreciate everything we had then i guess she dosen't deserve me..Thank Q for eveything guys..U have open up my mind as well as my heart..
