Guys! (but girls, too, please help on christmas present for boyfriend!) Thank you :-)

Ok, here we go. I'm usually quite good at deciding what to buy for "loved ones" but as I'm using this forum for pretty much any sort of questions I may as well ask this question too.

I have been with my boyfriend for 2.5 years and things are going fine. He's a banker, so needs to wear a suit every day, he makes a lot of money and is generally quite "brand-conscious". If you know what I mean. (i'm a poor old PhD student :-(

Two options for pressies:

A beer-thing where you can "pull your own beer". (sorry, my mother tongue is not English). My boyfriend has mentioned this a few times in summer as we quite like to throw parties. Check the thing out:

Or BULGARI cufflinks. I know that he needs cufflinks and would love to get them from me. (sort of a more significant present) But do guys like BULGARI cufflinks or is it too gay??

Check them out. It's the middle, silvery looking ones:

so guys, tell me what you'd prefer to get from your girlfriends (about to get married). and girls tell me what you would get your boyfriends!

Thanks so much!

Hmm....I'd give him the cufflinks, but what do I know.

My boyfriend/fiancee asked for 2 books (was specific about the titles) and a printer for his computer.....all in all, I spent 60 dollars, US. Thank god for Amazon.com

But he will get a lil "somethin-somethin" after I'm done opening my present (see's a ring in her future).

Hi

Thanks for your answer!

I just think that 500 USD for silver cufflinks is quite a lot! I guess it's the Bulgari brand you pay for!

Unless he is the very flashy type, those cufflinks are just TOO much - garish - gaudy - showy. Bankers are usually conservative, so I would suggest plainer, more tasteful, gold or silver cufflinks. With a USD500 budget, you should be able to get the very best. I checked [removed commercial link] and they have some very nice ones in your budget range.

The keg tapping device would also be fun and maybe more useful, if less personal.

Maybe more than twice, 2, 3, 4 times. Think about all the things you can buy with that money, unless of course you are a baller then go ahead.
