Needs: in no particular order...

Children - having "dad"
On going sexual excitement/fulfillment
Legitimacy in my relationships regardless of what kind they are
Happiness
Money
Work fulfillment
Sense of adventure
Acceptance for 'who I am"
Periodic freedom from relationships (being able to go away on his own for weekend etc..)
Being loved
Being thought of positively by my family
My house

When I asked him to rate these in order of need by using the process of elimination, he had this to say.....

1st thing he could give up "Being thought of postively by my family"
2nd " " " " " " Work fulfillment" (says has other means of getting fulfillment ie: kids, work isn't everything)
3rd Sense of adventure

That's as far as we got on this topic as we had limited time to discuss it

Yikes - if any man I was interested in chose being thought of positively by his family as the last thing on his list, I would run far, far away. My husband is one of those guys who doesn't really give a rats as$ what other people think of him. The only opinon that counts (besides his), is mine. To me, that is a man I want to keep!
