Red face Playing hard to get or just plain hard to get over

Just wondering if you all would give me your thoughts on this one here!

I moved from another state to Texas in the eigth grade. There was this guy I sorta knew who was two years older than me that always would tease me because his friend that was in my grade liked me. The older guy would always sorta tease me and was kinda a jerk.

Well I moved and ironically still kept in contact with the guy who was my age. Then over the summer ( four years later) and a few times in the past years the older guy would im me and talk to me on AOL. Well I thought nothing of it.

Fate has me moving back to my old state again from Texas and I am transferring to the same school that the older guy is attending. The more I think about it the more I think I liked him and possibly he liked me. He is very odd and almost manipulaltive. He does the exact opposite of what you want him to do (other friends have noticed this trait also) do you think something was there? I know this is dumb and hard for just any one to pick up on but what do you guys think.

Over the summer I talked to him and we had a really good almost ironic conversation he kept reiterating the fact that he changed and he wasn't a jerk. Something there, or does he just want me to think something is there???

Should I persue it or just forget somehow... I really cannot stop over analyzing this one guys. I mean we all have changed it's been four years and you can never have what you once had should I just take it for what it was and move on ... I just can't really I can't I think there is something much more here

Help...

Well since the two of you've kept in touch over the last 4 years and you now have the opportunity to go back again.. take the wait and see attitude you know?

Obviously he had enough of an interest to keep in touch with you.. no small thing take it from someone who grew up all over the damn country.. you don't keep in touch with a lot of people except the ones that meant something to you... he is now trying to convince you that he has changed (guess he knew you thought he was kind of a jerk before lol)

So... see how it goes when you get there.

Good Luck

Angry Weellll see 'bout that

If I suspect my partner, b/f, or s/o is messing around on me, I MAY ask him once, but you know the ol' addage, they lie, or atleast clam up and deny it ever happened the way presented.

I would leave in a second following the one chance to come clean w/me. Then I likely leave. Now you see it now you don't. No further question just gone. Too much has conspired in the past to continue this type of BS for me and no guarantees or promises to me, or us as of yet anyway...Personally I trust myself to know this.

So whaddya think? Stupid or just plain friends?!
