a question of timing
My boyfriend and I met in January when I moved into his dorm. Until he asked me out a few weeks ago, we were just friends...friends who had liked one another since February! Of course, I was very happy when he finally spoke up - we are both deathly shy.
My only concern is, how soon is too soon for things to get "serious?" I've only known him this year but living in such close quarters, I've gotten to know him very well. (He's always said I know/understand him better than anyone, and I think he probably knows *me* better than most.) Neither of us has been in a "real" relationship before, although he's a few years older than me. He's also a virgin...and I'm not.
So far we've just been sleeping in each other's rooms at night and fooling around. We spend a lot of time together during the day too, as we always have - talking, studying, meals, etc. I'm just wondering what the usual timeline is for these things, because some of my other friends think we're moving too fast. But because we're such close friends, we feel very comfortable. Please advise!
