But here's the update. We had our homecoming football game today. She's in the band (so is my roommate). I went up before the game to grab tickets from my roommate to give to his parents and ran into her. We talked about nothing for a minute or two, and then I asked her if she would come say hi during the third quarter break for the band. She said sure. At halftime, as she walked by my seat (she was on the field), she looked up and waved at me. I waved back. During the third quarter break she didn't come see me. After the game (we lost in overtime by one point, ouch) I go to the band entrance and go see her and her roommate (her roommate and I are co-workers). We talk about how disappointing the game was, but it was close, blah blah. We start moving towards the stairs, and my ex suddenly speeds up and disappears. Her roommate is like "wow, what was that?" I said I didn't know, but I'm assuming that our "just being friends" phase is having trouble. Right now my plan is to not contact her again until she contacts me, which I am fairly certain she'll do, probably tomorrow or Monday. But what should I do then?
