Unhappy Need some advice on my girlfriend...

I've been with this girl for 6 months now, and everything has been going great, we never fight or anything. She doesn't really talk to me much about her problems, but we try to communicate as good as we can. The other night she came over to watch some movies and stay over, but things didn't really work out. She came over and we ended up talking for a while. She is wicked stressed about starting college, work, her mother and family, us, her, me, her friends... you know the whole deal. Now she is saying she doesn't know what she wants, but she wants to be with me and I don't understand. We both love eachother but she is confused or something. I don't know how I should talk to her about this because I don't want it to turn into a breakup. I want to help her deal with her stress and somehow make our realtionship better through doing so. Im a very picky guy because of past experiences and it took alot for me to get here, then this problem jumped out of the blue at me. I really need some advice on what to do to maintain a good relationship and help lower her stress level. She said things like she wants to be sure that we both want the same thing, and that we dont get hurt. I have the feeling she wants a breakup but I'm not sure because I know I make her happy and help her through things, please help.

Maybe in some ways you've answered your own question...

Ask her, talk to her... find out what you can do to help.

I think it's awesome that you have the concern to want to help her and make things better for her. Just don't get lost in it all yourself

Communicate, better than you think you can.. I think you've done an outstanding job here saying how you feel.. so apply it to the relationship.

Good Luck

Thought i could help ya, since you have a name similar to mine

first off, my girlfriend is the same.. always stressed out.. and when i ask her what's wrong, it's just icing on the cake for her. if your girlfriend is like mine.. try giving her some space, stop asking her what's wrong. make her come to u.. i know it might sound selfish.. but it's not trust me! when i don't neglect my gilrfriend i get nothing, but when i'm not all ''lovy dovy'' and asking a million questions to see what's wrong. it usualy comes out sooner or later.. trust me bud, girls are evil.. you'll never understand them! that's why you have me!(j/k) i know little-nothing about them.. your best bet.. is to ask her what the problem is. and if she says nothing say ''ok well remember, i'm always here for you'' then throw in an I LOVE YOU that'll work
