Hey guys i was wondering if any of you could give me any tips to tone my stomach. At the start of the year i looked at some xmas photos and i didnt like what i saw i weighed 16st 9Ibs but through healthy eating and exercise i now weigh a trim 12st 9Ibs. Over the past few months i have been building my arms and leg muscles and now i have decided to try to tone my stomach. Although i am much trimmer than a few months ago my stomach still seems little undefined, i was wondering if you could give me any tips on how to properly exercise my stomach region at home and at the gym.
"Bicycle" exercises help. That's where you get on your back with your hands behind your head, pedal air, and do crunches at the same time. It's painful for the first month or so, but you get ripped after that.
Running tones nearly everything.

as many as you can do. I used to do almost 250 crunches but i slacked for a while now I do about 100. Hit your abs from every angle and lose body fat, otherwise you'll never see them anyways. Even when I was doing 250 I knew I had nice strong abs but i couldnt see them anyways.
But vary it up I do regular crunches, then leg lifts, then crunches holding a medicine ball above my head, do your obliques etc. Google ab exercises theyll have tons of info.
Well i do eat well ..........i have been weight training at the gym for about 3 months now..........but only really working on arms and legs. I eat plenty of protein and drink lots of water and rest well after.
But is there a particular good time to do crunches.............say in the morning after you get up........or before you go to sleep?
You could do a thousand crunches a day and it wouldn't make a damn difference if you weren't eating right.
Slower, fewer reps are as effective, but more importantly is "eating right." Unhappily, what is this?
When we isolate the abdominal area for definition, no pun intended, we need to determine what you mean by "undefined." If you expect to have the abs of 19 year old underwear model, and you are 40, then good luck starving yourself. Otherwise I'll give you a little hint. Did you watch the Olympics? See the abs on those guys, especially the swimmers? You got it: swim like a fish, and you'll get body fat (much of which males concentrate in their abs) down to the 3% level you'll need to model underwear.
