cousins of mine still living at home

just to mention i have 3 cousins-2 are like in thier early to mid 30's -one is a drafter-makes good money as he bought a brand new pathfinder previously and now i believe has a new audi- the thing that boogles my mind about him is he bought a house right next door to his mom or maybe his mom bought it for him. if u can buy a new audi u can move the heck out of ur moms place or mind even pay rent
my other cousin is a MBA grad camed over for chirstmas and dress very nice.my mom says he has a MBA and they usually make 6 figures or high 5 figure salaries. he lives in his moms basement.his mom dicates who he dates from what i heard, he dated a WF and his mom hated it.
both of em are male cousins- when i came over to their houses to visit they and their moms argue over this and that and get harassed. for me i have to face my folks then i don't understand why they take it-if i were em i move out for one they make great money and have financial sercurity and back up. both have gf's i now for one if i was a girl i won't date or even become freinds with either of em-why guys around their 30's still living at home and make decent to good money, WHY!!!
the other is a female cousin in her mid 20's lives at home and i believe has a business diploma she i guess isn't as well finanical secured as my 2 male cousins, so i guess she has a better excuse.

I was just kidding, kinda. I can never understand it when grown people live with their parents when they are finished with school and have jobs. I can understand it if you were in a transition period, (newly divorced or in between homes...), but I tried living with my parents again for a while a couple of years ago when I was moving out of one home and waiting for another to be vacant. (I own a house but was renting it out at the time and living with a totally lame guy). Living with them drove me nuts because I was not used to my mother cooking and actually washing my chothes!!! I've been on my own way to long for that. I was really glad to be back in my own home.

I guess some people just like the security (and freedom from responsibility) that comes with living with mom and dad. Seems like it would be hard to get anyone to take you seriously, though.

Someone started this a little while ago, but interestingly, nonetheless it has reared its head again. Apparently the social embrace of adults continuing to live at home, at least in western civilization, is less warm than we may expect.

Samson, I could see having my parents come to live with me when they can no longer care for themselves. I owe them that. I can't see me living with them, however. That's just my personal choice. Extended families are cool, and good for children, especially. I love the relationship that developed between my children and my parents. I just feel like I would be imposing on them. They loved it when we were living with them. I on the other hand, well, I just missed my home.
