journaling helps too. Write down what it is that you normally eat. Then make small changes - instead of fried stuff, eat bake, broiled, boiled. Substitute high fats for lower fat choices. Eat more fiber it will fill you up. Eat small mini meals 5-6 every 4-5 hours. Eat a well balance meal consisting of fats (yes you need those), protein and carbs. Drink water. Avoid alcohol as much as possible, it will hold on to your fat.
The more you eat will keep your body metabolism fueled and youll burn more calories, but it's chosing the right foods to eat. Watch the calories and never go belowe 1200., and move more than you normall do.
