Engagement

Hi everyone!

I have a question: When two ppl get engaged; do the girl have to pay for his ring and he pays for hers?

I've never heard of a guy getting an engagement ring.

I don't know -- since you are getting married, does it really matter who pays for what, since your finances will shortly be merged anyway?

Usually, and correct me if Im wrong, but you generally buy a wedding set, for one price. So you guys can go half and half, and call it even, or howefver you wish to work that.

As soon as anyone at the meeting starts to tear my argument apart, I'll remember to give myself a quick rub then stand up and smell my fingers whilst responding to my opponent calmly and with poise.
