Question Dealing with insecurity

I am in need of major help. I am in a relationship with the greatest guy! We have been together for over 2 years. I know he loves me and I love him..Problem is, his best friend is dating his ex girlfriends sister. I get very jealous of her, don't know why but I do. His best friend told me when they get married my boyfriend is going to be the best man and his ex girlfriend will be the maid of honor, then he tells me she (the ex) is having problems with her boyfriend. So now I am always wondering if the ex will be calling my boyfriend. Him and I got into a hugh fight over the weekend because he's tired of me always worrying about his ex. I am not a big fan of his best friend either. He seems like he is always here, he's a very nice guy but just always here. I am always being mean to him and breaking his stones. My boyfriend told me I need to change or things will be over with. I am making an appointment to go to counseling but don't know what to do in the mean time. My boyfriend told me over the weekend that his ex is no threat to me. He doesn't care if she is having problems with her boyfriend, he cares about us and that's all. When they broke up they moved on as friends not enemies. I think my past is causing me to feel this way. I was in a relationship and my ex and his ex wife were good friends and they ended up getting back together. Please help me keep my boyfriend.
Thanks

You have self-esteem issues that you need to deal with to help you get over the insecurity. Counselling is a good idea. I would also recommend stopping yourself whenever a negative thought enters your head. Good luck.
