Lightbulb Alright all you men... (or women who can help!!)

My bf's b-day is coming up and I'm planning on getting him a wallet, among other things...

I've been noticing how rugged his wallet looks and how he obviously needs another. I've looked around (Pennys, Belks, Sears) but none of the wallets have really stole my attention. I've seen a couple of cute Fossil wallets online, but still not exactly what I'm looking for. It's funny, I don't know what I'm looking for exactly, but I seem to have some kind of style in mind. Anyways, nothing too simple... nothing cheap... but still something he can always use and not be fearful of messing up. It has to be leather, I prefer brown. Any of you men know of any wallet brands that fit close to the above description? Know of any sites where I can browse online and maybe buy? When shopping for a wallet, what do you notice most about the ones you like? What do you look for in a wallet? Is this a good idea for a present?

Tommy Hilfiger is pretty good.....pay attention to see if he prefers bifold as opposed to trifold...see if he carries pictures in his wallet so you'll know to get one with picture holders in it. Does he have a lot of cards...if so get one with many slots for cards.

I've learned that wallets are very personal things to guys (like purses are for women!) -- look carefully at his current wallet to see what it is like. Some guys like lots of CC slots, some guys like picture slots, some guys like a thinner wallet, some a thicker, some wider, etc. If I were you I'd get him one similar to what he has.

Those are great replies & solutions!!
I was just wondering clia, if guy's wallets were in fact personal to them (like our precious purses)... Now I know!! I'll do a little further investigating of his current wallet to get some ideas. I haven't looked at any TH wallets, but I did find a really cute Eddie Bauer one that is just ideal!! I'm still looking, though...
