read me, read webmd

i've read lots of posts lately about so many medical questions. i just thought i'd make a little public service announcement (this unemployed insomniac lives alone and has had far too much time on her hands the last two days, in case you hadn't noticed ):

webmd is an incredible resource. going to the doctor already armed with information and questions really helps them to help you. it makes you more relaxed and means that you'll have less information to learn at the doctor's office, so maybe you'll be able to remember the important stuff!

we've probably all been to webmd to check out stds and what to do for our migraines, but did you know that there is also a great resource for drug information? here's the link to the drug&herbs page. click the link near the upper left ("look up drug supplements") to get to an index. side effects, cautions, and drug interactions are all present.

obviously webmd is no substitute for a doctor, but it's definitely worth your time.

Thanks so much. It's always great to have someone who's done their research so you don't have to.
