can a woman touch a man in a friendly way and keep it friendly

As a new dater, I have a question...

If a you and a man hug (at his proposal) and he nicely holds you for a moment but you notice he has an erection...

I decided to politely ignore it.

He said I should have realized it meant he would be wanting sex.

Also he said that a woman's touching a man gives him an erection. I said that it seemed natural to touch someone you feel affection for. I only touched his back and arms and put my arm around him and we held hands. It seemed very spontaneous and enjoyable.

He seemed to think it entitled him to touch my breasts. I got upset.

Did I make a faux pas?

Oh my, no. How old is this guy? Where is he from?

In the early stages of dating, no one is "entitled" to anything, except RESPECT.

Hold your ground. There are better fish in the sea.

hmmm that's rather odd I must say. A girl touches him and he gets a hard on.....that's a strange if you ask me. If you were doing like freak dancing and he got an erection, that's one thing, but this is a whole nother story.

And putting your arms around him gives does not give him the right to start touching your breasts.....god knows if that was considered okay the dating world would be a different place.

hmmm

The guy is a jerk and an idiot.
You guys just started dating.
He shouldn't expect sex.
He shouldn't have touched your breast.
The guy is probably only interrested in a one night stand.

I do understand why he did get hard.
When my girl wears a sexy outfit, I get hard just by looking at her.
Men like me are so easy to stimulate.
