It all depends on your intuition, Whisper. Has it been reliable in the past? Has it been reliable in your previous emotional situations? I'm in the same boat...I simply cannot imagine that I'll never see this man again, even though he's told me "Goodbye" in no uncertain terms. I can only say that in 3 other relationships (in which I was dropped by 2 of them, and I dropped the third), I had that weird feeling that it wasn't over. All three contacted me again and wanted to start over. It's been 3 for 3 for my intuition, but I feel the same doubt you do...maybe it's just wishful thinking...we can only (as they say) expect the worst and hope for the best.
